SARZORA: United Club of Benaulim defeated Sarzora SC 3-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the Assumpta Cup, at SAG ground, here, on Sunday.
Abner Fernandes opened the account for United Club of Benaulim in the 16th minute while Jason Pereira made it 2-0 in the 25th minute.
Jason Fernandes upped the pace for United Club of Benaulim by scoring the third goal in the 37th minute. Vicky Fernandes pulled one goal back for Sarzora SC in the 37th minute and Adrian D’Costa further reduced the margin in the 58th minute.
