SALIGAO: Holders United Club of Nerul defeatd FC Siolim 2-0 to clinch the Shanti Morada Soccer Cup, organized by Adarsh Yuvak Sangh, at Saligao ground, on Sunday.
Sanket Jotkar had a chance to put his team ahead in the first half. Crossing ends, in the 50th minute Dylan Britto got hold of a pass from his teammate Russel Fernandes and scored with a neat placement to make it 1-0.
In the 60th minute Dylan netted his brace with a superb solo effort making it 2-0.
Chief guest Minister for Housing Jayesh Salgaokar, guest of honour Tarun Puri and tournament sponsor Rajat Verma gave the prizes.
