SANGUEM: Abhijat Parrikar, son of former Chief Minister late Manohar Parrikar on Wednesday escaped unhurt after his car skidded off the road and fell on its side at Sulcorna, Sanguem.
Sources informed that Abhijat was returning home after his regular visit to his farm at Vichundrem, Sanguem.

The windshield of the car was broken. Sanguem’s former MLA Subhash Phal Dessai rushed to the accident site and assisted in sending Abhijat’s car for repairs.
Abhijat said, “I just lost control and the car skidded near Sulcorna. Locals helped me and later the police arrived. I got out of the car, I am fine.”
