PANJIM: Even though its license has been renewed, operations of the offshore casino belonging to Golden Globe Hotels Pvt Ltd (GGHPL) in River Mandovi have been caught in a difficult situation as the Home Department has reportedly suggested its relocation.Sources said the department higher ups have expressed reservations over allowing its operations in the River Mandovi stating the river channel is already congested. It is also learnt that Captain of Ports is yet to grant the vessel a No Objection Certificate.
The government had granted conditional license to GGHPL, a subsidiary of former Haryana Minister Gopal Kanda.
