PANCHAWADI: Santa Cruz Merces Veterans defeated Nuvem Veterans 2-1 to enter into the semifinals of St Anthony’s Veteran’s Cup organised by St Anthony boys Panchwadi at Green Field ground, Panchwadi on Monday.
Lazar D’Souza and Ramesh Palkar netted a goal each for Merces Veterans while Remy Colaco pulled a goal back for Nuvem Veterans.
Santa Cruz Merces veterans will meet Fatorda Veterans in the semifinals on November 26.
