PANJIM: The High Court of Bombay at Goa on Monday stayed work on the hot-mixing plant at Mollem near the Wildlife Sanctuary and in the buffer zone till further orders.

The Bench has adjourned the hearing till February 1.
Against this backdrop, the High Court has also issued a notice to the Goa government and Goa State Pollution Control Board seeking reply pertaining to the work in the sensitive zone.
Accordingly, the work will be closed till further notice. More details are awaited.
