VASCO: With barely 19 days remaining for the Lok Sabha election, the Congress party is yet to start its campaign in Mormugao taluka, while BJP and AAP have already hit the road and are busy campaigning for their South Goa Lok Sabha candidates.
BJP was the first one to start corner meeting in Mormugao, where Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, Power Minister Milind Naik, and South Goa Lok Sabha candidate Adv Narendra Savaikar addressed the first corner meeting at Baina. Several meetings were also held at the residences of block level in-charge.
AAP started its campaign for their South Goa candidate in Mormugao taluka two days ago. The AAP members are busy meeting the people on one-to-one basis.
While the AAP members are also busy in social media propaganda urging the voters to vote for AAP for a change, BJP is also leaving no stone unturned to woo the voters to vote them to power, while Congress, which declared its candidates just a few days ago, are yet to start the campaign.
