Strong police presence was seen in Mobor, Colva and Benaulim and also on all the main highways and roads leading to the BRICS venues.
Five BRICS nation heads and other 7 heads of nations will be attending the BRICS and BIMSTEC Summits on Saturday and Sunday. To keep the places secure from any situations or threats armed personnel and police have been deployed. The entire security arrangement of BRICS venues have been done by the National Security Guards (NSG) and the police have an eye on any and every activity in and around the routes of the Carcades.

As a matter of safety the accesses to the beaches of all the private hotels and the Summit hotels are sealed and will be opened only after October 18.
