Time-of-Day Tariff Applies Only to Industrial Consumers, Not Homes: Clarifies Chief Electrical Engineer

Chief Electrical Engineer (CEE) Stephan Fernandes has clarified that the time-of-day (ToD) power tariff is currently applicable only to industrial consumers and not to domestic users.

The clarification comes amid widespread confusion and public concern over reports suggesting that higher night-time electricity rates would apply to household consumers as well.
