Authorities have identified the university as a possible operational hub for the attack, which involved a car packed with ammonium nitrate fuel oil being detonated outside the 16th-century Mughal monument.
The disappearances came to light during a coordinated operation conducted by the Jammu & Kashmir Police and Haryana Police. While officials stress it is premature to reach definitive conclusions, early intelligence suggests the missing individuals may belong to the so-called “terror doctor” module believed to be involved in planning the explosion.
Meanwhile, sources revealed that Pakistan-based militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed—suspected to be behind the Red Fort blast—had recently circulated a call for financial contributions, reportedly seeking PKR 20,000 from supporters to fund additional fidayeen (suicide) missions.
