MLA Sankalp Amonkar raised a Zero Hour notice in the Goa Legislative Assembly alleging the illegal operation of a prepaid taxi counter run by Taj India Tours at Dabolim Airport. He accused the operator of cheating local taxi operators and violating existing norms governing airport transport services.
Amonkar further alleged that the prepaid taxi service was employing unlicensed drivers from outside the state and charging tourists exorbitant fares, thereby harming both local livelihoods and Goa’s reputation as a tourist-friendly destination.

Urging immediate intervention, the MLA called upon the government to take strict action against the alleged violations and ensure that only authorised operators function at the airport in compliance with state regulations.
