A fire broke out at Mala in Panjim after rubber pipes stored in a nearby dumping yard went up in flames, causing alarm in the area on Monday.
Fire and Emergency Services personnel were immediately rushed to the spot after receiving information about the blaze. Firefighters managed to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures.
