A school principal from north Bengaluru has lodged a police complaint accusing her father-in-law of repeated sexual harassment and physical assault over nearly six years. According to the FIR, the woman has been working as the principal of a private school in the RT Nagar area since 2007 and resides with her husband and three children.
The complaint states that the accused, who was also associated with the same school, began allegedly misbehaving with her around 2020. At the time, the extended family lived in the same apartment complex but in separate units. The woman alleged that the accused would enter her residence when she was alone and subject her to unwanted advances and physical misconduct on multiple occasions.

She further claimed that she remained silent for years due to threats allegedly issued by the accused, who warned her that her children would be harmed if she disclosed the incidents to anyone. After enduring the situation for an extended period, the complainant approached the police and filed an FIR. Authorities have initiated an investigation and stated that further action will be taken based on the findings of the inquiry.
