The Goa Police has announced the transfer of eleven Police Inspectors following recommendations made by the Police Establishment Board. The reshuffle affects postings across several important police stations, security units, and headquarters in the state. Areas covered under the latest transfer order include Margao, Maina Curtorim, Panaji, Ponda, Saligao, Calangute, Fatorda, and Ribandar, among others.
Officials stated that the transfers were carried out as part of routine administrative measures aimed at strengthening operational efficiency and improving coordination across districts. Senior officers emphasised that periodic reshuffles help maintain transparency, enhance accountability, and ensure balanced deployment of experienced personnel in key locations. The department also noted that the decision was taken in the public interest to improve policing services and streamline law-and-order management across the state.
