Amazon opens massive new Bengaluru campus for 7,000 staff

Amazon has opened its second-largest office in Bengaluru, reinforcing its long-term commitment to India. The 1.1 million sq ft, 12-storey campus can accommodate more than 7,000 employees across e-commerce, payments, technology and seller services.

Built on a five-acre site about 15 km from Kempegowda International Airport, the facility was inaugurated by MB Patil. The campus features collaborative workspaces, recreation zones, sports courts, cafeterias and outdoor community areas.

Country Manager Samir Kumar said India remains a long-term priority. Amazon has invested over $40 billion in India and plans an additional $35 billion by 2030.
