In a key development in the alleged assault case involving a Bengaluru tourist at Calangute Beach, the third accused has been remanded to four days of police custody by the Mapusa JMFC Court.
Police officials confirmed that the investigation is actively underway, with further arrests likely in the coming days. Laxi Amonkar, Police Inspector of Calangute, stated that efforts are ongoing to identify and apprehend additional individuals connected to the incident.
