In yet another interesting case highlighting the rising menace of cyber fraud, a 71-year-old woman from Mumbai allegedly lost her life savings of Rs 18.5 lakh while attempting to order just a litre of milk online, police said on Saturday.

The complainant, a resident of Wadala, fell victim earlier this month when she tried to purchase milk through an online delivery app. Within just two days, fraudsters managed to siphon off money from all three of her bank accounts.
