Ponda Bypoll Preparations in Full Swing Amid Bombay High Court Hearing on Election Petitions

Even as legal uncertainty continues, the administration has intensified preparations for the upcoming Ponda by-election in Goa, setting up 45 polling booths and deploying 54 teams of personnel.

South Goa Collector and District Election Officer Egna Cleetus confirmed that all arrangements are in place. She stated that polling staff have been selected through a transparent randomisation process to ensure fairness and efficiency in the conduct of the election.
