Goa Police STF on High Alert to Detect Illegal Bangladeshi Nationals Amid West Bengal Concerns

The Goa Police Special Task Force (STF) has been placed on high alert across all districts of the state to detect and monitor the movement of illegal Bangladeshi nationals allegedly entering or residing in Goa.

According to sources, authorities suspect that recent political developments and the changing government scenario in West Bengal could trigger the relocation of Bangladeshi nationals who are allegedly staying illegally in the state.

As part of intensified surveillance measures, the Goa STF is coordinating closely with the Railway Protection Force to monitor trains arriving from West Bengal and identify suspicious movements.

Police officials are reportedly keeping a close watch at railway stations and other transit points as part of efforts to prevent illegal infiltration and ensure stricter verification of individuals entering the state.
