Narendra Modi has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic mishap reported in Bhatkal, Karnataka, which resulted in the loss of several lives and left multiple people injured.
The Prime Minister conveyed his condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the incident.

According to official information, an ex-gratia compensation of Rs 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) will be provided to the next of kin of each deceased victim. Additionally, injured persons will receive financial assistance of Rs 50,000 each.
Authorities are continuing rescue and relief efforts while further details regarding the mishap are awaited.
