PANJIM: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) senior spokesman and National Media Cell member Trajano D’Mello on Sunday declined to comment on alleged viral audio.
Early this month, an audio clip purportedly of D’Mello making serious allegation against GPCC President Girish Chodankar had gone viral on social media. But reacting to it, Chodankar had denied the voice in the clip is of D’Mello and had charged that the voice was dubbed by somebody to tarnish his image.
“No, I don’t want to comment on it (audio clip),” D’Mello said when asked whether he will demand an inquiry. Congress spokesman Ashish Kamat, who was also present, sought to know whether the audio clip had anything to do with the controversial Goa Bhumiputra Adhikarini Bill and advised the media persons to speak on it after the briefing was over.
D’Mello was indisposed since the purported audio clip had gone viral.
