Following the historic victory, Patidar dedicated the triumph to RCB’s loyal supporters. “This one is for you again, RCB fans. Ee Sala nu Cup Namdu,” he said, acknowledging the fanbase that waited years to see the franchise become champions.

Patidar’s leadership has transformed RCB into one of the most consistent sides in the league. Yet, the captain was quick to praise his teammates instead of taking individual credit.
“The way Bhuvi, Hazlewood, Rasikh, KP, Suyash and Shepherd bowled all season was incredible. I never imagined I would captain RCB and lift the trophy. I believe it was destined,” Patidar said after the match.
The skipper admitted that the confidence gained from last year’s title-winning campaign played a major role in their successful defence. He also highlighted the impact of Dinesh Karthik, who helped him refine his batting approach.
“We carried a lot of confidence from last season. No matter where we played, it felt like a home game because our fans turned up in huge numbers. DK’s guidance helped me understand my game better and improve as a batter,” he said.
Patidar’s humility, tactical awareness and ability to unite the dressing room have now made him one of the most successful captains in RCB’s history.
