Amid a rise in dengue cases in Ponda, an alleged dengue-related death has been reported from the Khadpaband area, triggering concern among local residents and health authorities.
In response to the growing outbreak, Councillor Vishwanath Dalvi, accompanied by Shaunak Borkar, Vinidhya Punalekar, and Shantaram Kolvekar, visited the Ponda Infectious Diseases (ID) Hospital to assess the prevailing situation and review the measures being taken to manage the surge in cases.

During the visit, the delegation interacted with hospital authorities and sought information on the availability of medical facilities, treatment arrangements, and the support required to effectively tackle the outbreak.
