The Maina-Curtorim Police assisted the Kalyan Railway Police in tracing and arresting a man wanted in connection with a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
The accused, identified as Ashrof, son of Salim Sunar Khan (27), a resident of New Wada, Vasco, was allegedly hiding in Nuvem to evade arrest.

Acting on specific information, the Maina-Curtorim Police coordinated with the Kalyan Railway Police, enabling the successful apprehension of the accused. He was wanted in an NDPS case registered by the Kalyan Railway Police.
Further investigation and legal proceedings will be carried out by the Kalyan Railway Police.
