Goa Police destroyed 46.363 kg of seized narcotic drugs worth approximately ₹2.02 crore in a major anti-drug operation on July 23. The drugs, linked to 18 NDPS cases registered across various police stations, including the Anti Narcotic Police Station, were incinerated at Biotic Waste Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Kundaim. The disposal was conducted in the presence of Director General of Police Alok Kumar under the supervision of the Drug Disposal Committee. Goa Police said the exercise reflects its commitment to strict NDPS Act enforcement and a drug-free, safer Goa.
