A security alert was triggered at the Mapusa KTC Bus Stand on Thursday after a foreign couple reportedly left behind 16 bags and did not return for several hours. The unattended luggage prompted police and security personnel to inspect the bags and secure the area as a precaution. According to sources, the couple had arrived at the bus stand before leaving the luggage behind. Authorities later traced the tourists and verified the contents of the bags. No suspicious material was found, and the alert was lifted after the verification process was completed.
