According to the police investigation, the worker had been employed at the construction site and allegedly fell accidentally from the third floor of the building.

Police have also alleged that the two building owners took the injured worker to the CHC but provided misleading information about the location and circumstances of the incident.

The contractor and the building owners have further been accused of failing to provide adequate safety equipment and necessary precautionary measures at the construction site.

Canacona Police have registered a case against the three persons and are conducting further investigations into the incident.
