A woman from North Goa who was earlier reported uncontactable in Tibet while travelling with an Isha Foundation group has been confirmed safe, according to information received on Thursday.
The woman had been among those whose whereabouts could not initially be confirmed following the devastating flash floods and related disaster in the region.
Authorities and concerned agencies have been working to trace people from Goa and other parts of India who were reported missing or uncontactable in Nepal and Tibet.
The latest confirmation has brought relief to the woman’s family and those concerned about her safety.
