A 15-year-old boy from Poriem, Sattari, died after sustaining serious head and eye injuries in a motorcycle accident near Holy Cross Chapel in Assonora.
According to Colvale Police, the accident occurred when the motorcycle was travelling from Assonora towards Sirsaim. The rider, identified as Shivraj Singh, 22, allegedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to skid.

The 15-year-old sustained severe injuries to his head and eye in the accident. He was subsequently taken for medical treatment but succumbed to his injuries.
Colvale Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances leading to the accident.
Police said the accused rider has not been arrested so far. A notice under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) has been issued to him as part of the investigation.
