PANJIM: Mustifund Aryans Higher Secondary School secured the top spot at GCET for the 12th consecutive year.
Addressing the media, Mustifund Aryans HSS Principal, Venkatesh Prabhudesai said, “I am proud to say that for the 12th consecutive year from 2006 we have the GCET topper and Pratheek Rebello has done it in style. Not only has he broken his own records in all the results which have come so far and also in GCET, he in the only one top in all three that is physics, chemistry and maths”
“His total in PCB comes to be 214 out of 225 which is one of the highest ever, our student in 2011, Suzana Thomas, had got 214, so he has equaled the marks in spite of being a maths student. If PM is concerned his physics score is 70 and maths is 74,” Prabhudesai said.
He said that 11 students from the school are in the top 20 though none of them will be joining colleges in Goa.
Rebello, speaking to the media, said, “I will be answering the JEE advanced exam shortly as my choice is to get admissions at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).”
