Addressing a press conference, Madgut who is also a former Deputy Chairman of Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir also demanded the sacking of GSIDC chairman Dr Pramod Sawant over the ‘faulty’ work of the Kala Mandir, which was constructed by spending a whopping Rs 43 crore.
At present, he said, the Kala Mandir is closed for programmes after its inauguration in April this year due to pending interior work and lack of power connection.
Ponda Shiv Sena chief Ravindra Talavikar, Gansham Naik, Anant Fadte and Ashok Prabhu were also present.
