Nagvekar in his complaint has stated that on October 12.30 noon he noticed accused Dias along with 2 male persons removing number plate of his Wagnor car which was parked in open place near his residence.
The accused was caught with the help of locals along with two number plates while the two male accomplices managed to escape. She was then handed over to Margao police who registered offence of theft and arrested her. Efforts to arrest the two other accused are on and police are further investigating the case.
