TIVIM: Two persons including a foreigner were injured in a road accident at the four roads junction at Assagao on Sunday.
According to information, one Gajanan from Badem-Assagao was proceeding on his motorcycle from Assagao towards Badem when the foreigner riding a scooter , who was proceeding from Siolim towards Anjuna, dashed against the motorcycle. Gajanan and the foreigner sustained injuries.
Locals, who gathered in large numbers, instructed the foreigner to pay some compensation as he was speeding and caused injuries to the elderly man. The matter was amicably solved.
