PORVORIM: A youth from Moira died while another youth from Canca was injured in a road mishap at Olaulim-Pomburpa.
According to Mapusa police, the incident took place at Olaulim-Pomburpa when Lifemino Roystan Braganza (18) of Moira was riding a motorcycle (GA-03-A-0625) from Pomburpa to Carona-Aldona along with pillion rider Joel Coutinho (17) of Canca.
The motorcycle went over a speed breaker and dashed against an oncoming car (GA-03-H-8799). Braganza died of injuries, while Coutinho sustained injuries and was later discharged from hospital. The Police has registered the offence under Sections 279, 338, 336, 304-A IPC and PSI R A Kalangutkar is investigating the case.
