MARGAO: A dry spell in the last few days has been literally giving sleepless nights for officials and staff of the Margao Urban Health Centre as they fear that the situation may cause a spurt in malaria cases in the coming days.
Dr Sanjay Dalvi, however, said that the Centre has put the officials on alert to meet any situation, while asserting that the number of malaria cases reported in margao this year is far less than last year.
