PERNEM: Union Minister for Law and Justice S P Singh Baghel on Saturday said that the Greenfield Mopa Airport is very important for the State of Goa and will benefit Goa as well as the country in terms of tourism.
Addressing the media persons during his visit to Mopa Airport site along with Minister of State for Tourism Shripad Naik and Pernem MLA Pravin Arlekar, the Union Minister for Law and Justice said, “The Mopa Airport will boost tourism of Goa as well as the country and foreign national who will come to India as a tourist will definitely visit Taj Mahal and Goa.”

“This airport at Mopa will boost the tourism as well as businesses right from taxi owners to hotels, casinos to roadside paan vendors,” the Union law minister said.
