GVK EMRI 108 ambulance service kept busy on Holi day

PANJIM: The GVK EMRI 108 ambulance service was kept on toes to cater to the emergencies on Holi day and answered as many as 1590 calls and attended 235 emergency cases on Holi eve from different parts of Goa.
From March 27 to 29, the GVK EMRI staff worked round-the-clock and attended 3938 calls, 618 emergencies and answered 1590 calls alone on Holi day.
“On the eve of the Holi weekend, followed by Holi festival, GVK EMRI’s Emergency response centre & 108 ambulance was kept on high alert to meet any eventuality during the festival of Holi. They registered 623 emergency cases. We salute them for their efficiency and proactiveness,” tweeted Health Minister Vishwajit Rane.
“On EMT Day, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the Emergency Medical Technicians of GVK EMRI for their countless dedication and service to society. Your prompt effort is a hallmark,” Rane said.
