Potters Fest Goa: A Celebration of Innovation and Artistry

The fourth edition of The Potters Fest Goa showcases how the humble clay can be moulded into a beautiful range of products at the hands of over 40 potters. The three-day festival is currently underway at Campal with many more activities

The Potters Fest Goa is not just an exhibition but the coming together of innovative potters from across the country for the love of pottery. The fourth edition of the annual festival is being held at F L Gardens, Campal, Panjim on January 11 and 12 from 12 pm to 10 pm to introduce art lovers to the world of pottery.

Organised by Bipasha Sen Gupta, the festival brings contemporary studio artists to the fore with their new designs and techniques.

On January 11, the second day of the Potter Fest, there will be a talk on azulejos by Bicholimt-based artist Shankar Turi from 10.30 am to 11.30 am. The evening session will include a flower arrangement demo by Daniel D’Souza at 5.30 pm followed by a musical performance by Shrey Tandon from 7.30 pm onwards. On the third and concluding day of the festival, a talk on Kavvi Art by artist Sagar Naik Mule will be held at 10.30 am to 11.30 am. On both the days, there will be live demonstrations of pottery and mosaics.
