SANGUEM: Despite being a heavily populated country, Narendra Modi-led Central BJP government has done extremely well in the containment of the dreaded coronavirus which has otherwise shocked almost every developed country all over the world, claimed former MLA of Sanguem Subhash Phaldessai.

He was speaking at a press briefing held at Sanguem to compliment the BJP government at the Centre on the completion of one year in office.
Phaldessai was accompanied by BJP Sanguem Block President Navnath Naik, Sudesh Bhandari, Suresh Kepekar and Rajesh Gaonkar.
Speaking further Phaldessai informed that in the advance countries such as Italy and America, the number of coronavirus cases are on an increasing trend as compared to its population. However, in India, the situation is completely the opposite. We have more number of recoveries of patients suffering from COVID-19 and this achievement of Modi-led government is highly commendable.
Since the time of imposition of Janata Curfew and the ongoing Phase Five of lockdown, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has considered grievances of all section of the people and has reached to all most every individual at times of need during the period of lockdown through the various means of government machinery.
“Since the time of BJP government having come to power, Indians are being considered at top posts of many international organisations including WHO. Moreover, a large number of foreign companies are also looking up for avenues to invest in India,” claimed Phaldessai.
Phaldessai also complimented Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and the Health Minister Vishwajit Rane for all their efforts in the containment of COVID-19 in the State.
Rane along with Dr Sawant have done extremely well in taking good care of the stranded migrant labourers in Goa. While initially, the government provided the stranded labourers with food and shelter, in the last few days due efforts are made to repatriate the stranded labours to their native States through railways and other modes of transport.
Sanguem BJP Block President Navnath complimented Modi government for its achievements during the last one year.
