TUEM: Sinquerim SC downed Saligao Sporting 3-1 via the tie-breaker to enter the quarterfinals of the FC Tuem Champions Trophy inter village football tournament, organised by FC Tuem in association with CAM group of Companies at DSYA ground, Tuem, on Tuesday.
Both teams were goalless at the half time. Post resumption, Pratik Tirodkar of Sinquerim tapped the rebound ball in the rival goal in the 38th minute.

Thereafter, Saligao Sporting kept on putting pressure on the rival defence. Michael Dias missed a good chance to equalise in the 45th minute whereas Pratik Tirodkar missed a chance in the 50th minute for Sinquerim SC. When it looked like Sinquerim would win the match comfortably Sachidanand Satelkar scored a gem of goal in the 70th minute to make it 1-1.
In the kicks from the penalty mark, Sinquerim SC scored through Mitesh Hoble, Prajyot Gaonkar and Prabhakar Maulinkar while Kenrick Menezes was the lone scorer for Saligao Sporting.
