The chairman of the Sino India Trade and Culture Promotion Council Paul Cho Kwai Shun, who is also leading the delegation told Herald, “The meeting with Mr Abhyankar was very positive on aspects of 3D printing. His focus was to start a laboratory to demonstrate. The meeting will continue further and we are hopeful that it will turn out to be a very positive one and if all goes well it will be put into a fast track mode.”
The DoIT has sought more details with plans from the Chinese delegation so that action can be taken after studying the project envisaged.
The two VPs of Shenzhen 2TTF Technology Anjing Chen and Baizhan Chen told Herald that they were very upbeat on this issue and Goa can be turned into a major hub for 3D printing technology if all goes well.
The delegation also met business leaders in Goa under the agies of World Trade Center. The advisor to WTC Goa Manguirish Pai Raiker raised the issue of terrorism and China’s stand on it. This meeting was attended by at least 20 industrialists which included people like Anil Counto, Raj Kumar Kamat and several others.
