The theme of the Conclave this year is ‘Structural Reforms and Growth in India’. There will be four Plenary Sessions on the day one and one Plenary Session and Closing Ceremony on the day two.
The various issues to be discussed include infrastructure and growth, changing global scenario, growth of trade and reforms, inclusive growth and agriculture, manufacturing: challenges and reforms and State capacity, structural reforms and growth among others.
Participants include Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Dy PM, Singapore, Piyush Goyal, Minister of State (IC), Power, Coal and NRE, Rajiv Mehrishi, Finance Secretary, Dr Arvind Subramanian, Chief Economic Adviser, Ministry of Finance, Dr Bimal Jalan, former Governor, RBI, Dr N K Singh, Former Member Rajya Sabha, Ajay S Sriram, chairman CII, and Yaduvendra Mathur, CMD, EXIM Bank among others.
Jayant Sinha, Minister of State of Finance will be the lead speaker at the closing ceremony which will also be attended by Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairmac, SBI; Deepak Parikh, chairman, HDFC; V R Iyer, CMD, Bank of India and Prof Abhijit Banerjee, MIT among others.
Nitin Kunkolienker, Vice President of MAIT and former President of Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been invited to this prestigious conclave to be a panelist on the 4th Plenary Session on Manufacturing : Challenges and Reforms.
This session will be chaired by Ajay Sriram, chairman of CII.
and the other panelists will include Prof Raphie Kaplinsky, Open University – UK ,Prof Prema Chandra Athukorala- Australian National University and Rajat Sachar, Adviser – DEA.
