Not a morning person but yet wakes up at 6 am to prepare her 9 year old Syana for school and then drops her before she steps into her office at 8 am till 2 pm. Very few Goans will actually land up in office at 8 am.
Her actual me time begins at around 3 pm which includes regular indulgence with yoga, walks and enjoys her company of friends.
“I am an outright outgoing person but not a party person. I prefer to visit heritage sights, birding, watching wildlife etc,” said Anagha.
Mobikes is her passion. “I have been riding a two-wheeler since I was 11 year old and used to kick start my dad’s scooter and I was the only girl in college in those days to ride a two-wheeler. I was inspired by a friend of mine who was much frailer than me and I used to win in ‘punja ladai’. If he could ride a bike then why can’t I?” added Anagha.
At present she does not have a bike but very soon she will buying one to push her passion.
For Anagha the passing away of her dad in 1998 was a shocker but she got married to Sydney the same year and he was instrumental in supporting her in all forms.
“Sydney helped me learn that business needs and I was good in communicating and hence it just clicked,” she said while recalling her family visit to Khajuraho. She has been now in Goa for last 18 years and the “the best thing about Goa is it is very friendly, non-interfering and safe,” said Anagha.
