PANJIM: The festival season just got a little more festive and your travel plans a little more budget-friendly thanks to Jet Airways.

The company today announced a five-day special fare for travel from 5 November 2014 onwards on domestic and international routes.

Discounts of between 25 percent to 50 percent are on offer for booking made between 2 October to 6 October, 2014,”on base fares and fuel surcharge, over the lowest available fares in Economy Class”, according to a company press release.

For passengers on international routes, discounts will range from 25 percent to 50 percent only on base fares on the lowest Premiere and Economy fares available for travel.

These offers are available on direct domestic and international sectors and also on flights operated with Etihad Airways.

The offer is just the latest in a string of deals doled out by Jet.

Last month, Jet Airways announced nine-day special fare offers on economy tickets for travel to and from Bengaluru, coinciding with the start of the Navratri season. The fares are available on flights to Chennai, Goa, Kochi, Jaipur and Chandigarh.

Before that, Jet unveiled a first-of-its-kind offer that slashed business class rates substantially across sectors. The scheme was available for fliers on domestic routes besides those flying to international destinations like Singapore, London, Toronto, Bangkok, Dubai, Hong Kong and Dammam.

And even prior to that, Jet Airways announced fares starting at Rs 499 on domestic routes.
