Staying fit, keeping calm

Running a business in these tough times can take a lot of a man or woman. It can cause stress and much angst. Vikram Salgaonkar, director of Salmon Fresh Foods Pvt Ltd spoke of a day in his life as he essays various roles and maintains his composure. A fit body is a fit mind and Vikram believes in that adage. He works out four times after work. Vikram is up at 6.45 am and is in the office by half past 9. He is in the office every Monday conducting meetings and then spends the rest of the week travelling around the State visiting the factory as well as outlets.
He calls himself a pure Bollywood and Hollywood fan and likes to watch action movies. Be it the latest Fast and Furious movie or a Hindi film. He is waiting for Bahubali to be released. Varun Dhawan is a favourite actor and Aliya Bhatt his favourite actress. Vikram is not into music.  He however reads a lot and focuses his attention on keeping a tab on the latest developments in his industry. In his younger days, he used to read a lot of fiction. With regards sports, he used to play cricket whilst in college but now he watches, when he has the time.            With regards food, he quite enjoys hard core North Indian food. Butter Chicken, oh yes indeed and like any good Goan he quite likes his fish. He is, he insists, not into fine dining. He quite likes the fare at Bhati village especially the fish. Tandoori crabs at Trishna in Mumbai is another favourite.
With regards to holidays he makes it a point to go on a holiday abroad once and domestically twice. He has visited several countries in Asia like Singapore, Hong Kong and yes Dubai recently. They also recently had a great time in Jaipur. With young kids they make it a point to visit a place with heritage and scenic beauty. 
In five years, he would like to achieve certain goals and yes enhance the brand of his business. As a young father, Vikram intends to keep enjoying their company.
