83 year old Lilawati Talankar of Colvale was announced winner of “Selfie with Bappa”, an Online Contest, organized by Unbeatable Dance Academy of Vasco in view of Ganesh festival.
In a press note issued it has been mentioned that the Mormugao Municipal Council Ward-22 councillor and social worker Sudesh Bhosle was consented to be the chief guest for the prize distribution ceremony which was held at Hotel Supreme in Vasco recently.
The manager of M S Lotlikar Jewellers Vasco Krupesh Bandodkar and general manager of Hotel Supreme Vasco Sameer Palledar were guests of honor. Among those others present on the occasion were, director and founder of Unbeatable Dance Academy Tushar Volvoikar, Trustee of Unbeatable Dance Foundation Rekha Volvoikar and Sandhya Volvoikar, advisor of Unbeatable Dance Academy Cedric Rodrigues and Shalaka Kambli, project manager of Unbeatable Dance Academy Mahesh Govekar, panch member of Sancoale Village Panchayat Govind Lamani besides member of Unbeatable Dance Academy Vijay Rathod.
The runner-up in the competition was Chandani Vaigankar (Siolim). While special prizes were awarded to Sachin Naik (Ponda), Atisha Falkar (Sankhalim), Supriya Sakhalkar (Vasco), Teja Naik (Aldona), Sangeeta Lamani (Vasco), Unmesha Salgaonkar (Porvorim), Siddhi Satardekar (Candolim) and Supriya Vinzanekar (Margao).
The winners were announced/judged by the organizers based on the highest likes received from the people on Instagram.
In all 33 participants participated in the competition. Director and founder of Unbeatable Dance Academy Tushar Volvoikar welcomed the gathering. Program was compered by project manager of Unbeatable Dance Academy Mahesh Govekar.
