‘A Saint in the
Making’, a coffee-table book on significant events from the life of Venerable Agnelo de Souza
was released at the Pilar Monastery, Pilar. Authored and published by Dr
Socorro Mendes, a priest belonging to the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman, the
book was released by Prof. Aires Dias, the grandnephew of Venerable Agnelo, and
his spouse, Maite Dias.
Also
present at the event were Fr Tony Fernandessfx, Vice-Postulator for the Cause
of Venerable Agnelo de Souza, Fr Nazareth Fernandes sfx, representing the
Society of Pilar, printer Roque Fernandes of Diamond Publications and artist
Alvito D’Costa.
