Pet
parents, as they are called these days, have one common problem whenever they go out for a
party.They worry about their pet’s well-being when they are away and sometimes
if the pet is not feeling well, they decide to stay home and take care of their
pet.
The time spent with these pets – man’s best friend – is a time
cherished for these pet owners and you often find interesting ways pet owners
show their love and affection for what is an integral part of their lives.
So when an idea was proposed to have a collective party just for
pets, everyone jumped at this idea and an occasion to allow their pets to have
fun was too tempting to resist.
Mascot – Pet Lifestyle Stores is organising the first of its
kind pet pool party, titled, Pet Socials, on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Green
Amaze, Borda. “We are expecting a crowd of over 100 pets and over 250 people at
our event for the biggest pet pool party in Goa!We have made provisions for
people to interact with vets, trainers, groomers along with swimming and games
for pets and food court for pet parents. We have also provided space for a
local NGO to hold an adoption camp,” says Chaitanya Malkarnekar, Proprietor,
Mascot.
“The human-pet bond is a mutually beneficial one, and positively
influences the health and well-being of both. Pets are our companions and need
utmost care. We are very excited and looking forward to this unique pooch pool
party,” adds DrSai Audi, co-organiser of Pet Socials and Chaitanya’s fiancé.
“A big shout out to pets all over Goa. Let’s make the most of
the monsoons with Pet Socials. We bring you the most interesting Sunday-funday
event on July 1,” adds Dr Sai.
The event that will have music, games, activities for the pets
and the winners of these competitions such as ‘most good looking dog’ among
others will walk away with prizes and victory rosettes.
“We also have health care attended to with our in house reputed
vets, and professional trainers,” adds Chaitanya.
There will also be pool access to all pets, something that many
pet owners have been excited about, and the pets will be supervised by
professional pet swimmers flying all the way from Bangalore, with respective safety
jackets and other measures.
“There will also be some yummy-pawlicious food by Resto
‘Hakunah-Matata’ with their ‘Bark me a treat’ Menu serving high fibre
poochkies,bites, pupcakes, meat loafs and special pet biryani! Pet parents
shall also be engaged with some serious good bites at our food court,” says
Chaitanya.
Pet product companies like Royal Canin, Drools, Pedigree and
Fido shall be sampling products at the venue and educating customers about the
various varieties of pet foods available and their benefits.
The
fun-frolic pooch event will also have photo booths ready for that perfect
“paw-shot”.
