It was a match befitting the occasion. Manchester City came back
from two goals to beat Aston Villa 3-2 and win the EPL on the last day of the
season. For fans of football and the club it was an experience they were proud
to have witnessed.
It was an exciting finale that kept everyone at the edge of
their seats. Kudos to Pep Guardiola. City came back from a 2 goal deficit to
beat Aston Villa 3-2 and become champions in a dramatic fashion, all within a
span of just 5 minutes. As a Liverpool fan, it was disappointing to watch us
finish second, with just a point separating the Champions, Manchester City and
us. We were so close yet so far and this brought back memories of the 2018/19
EPL season. But we walk on with hope in our hearts and are so very proud of
what Juergen Klopp and the team has achieved under him this season.

I had no expectations about the game other than a City win. As a
Liverpool fan yesterday was a celebration of an amazing season. It’s wonderful
to be a Liverpool fan right now. There have been so many memorable moments,
together for the fans and players. Congratulations to Man City. The reds are
looking forward to the UCL Final.

First of all Congratulations Manchester City on winning the EPL,
but Liverpool gave a tough fight till the very end. Liverpool goes by the
strong spirit of “NEVER GIVING UP””. We’re gracious and humble as we play
the game a certain way, whether we win or we lose. Liverpool’s constant fight
for the title taught us “No matter if you win or lose, the most important thing
in life is to enjoy what you have”. A true champion is a true champion. They go
fight and win or lose, giving it their all.

It’s a surreal feeling. The best one yet, out of the 4 that Pep
has won here. The moment I saw KDB tying his laces when we were down 2-0, I
knew we’d make a comeback. We have done it in the past and we did it again. As
for Liverpool, congratulations for the 2nd place, it has been an extraordinary
season for them as well. Both these teams have taken PL to a different level
but unfortunately there can only be one winner. Good luck for the Champions
League Final.

As always the last day of the PL was epic. As a Manchester
United Fan myself, there was nothing to cheer as we finished in the Europa
League spot which could’ve been worse. With all the matches happening
simultaneously, the main focus was on the title and relegation battle. It was a
thriller at the Etihad where the champions came from 2 Goals down to take
matters in their own hands & clinch their 4th title in 5 seasons.
Congratulations to Man City & their fans. The city remains blue for now but
hoping to turn it to red soon.

The last match day of the premier league was without a doubt
full of excitement until the last minute, City and Liverpool truly put on a
fantastic performance with exciting football from both ends. Finally it was
meant to be the Cityzens to bring home the trophy for the sixth time, hopefully
next season is just as exciting and results in a new team at the top!

It’s been a roller coaster season for City.! We did not have the
best start but we managed to get past the finish line first. De bruyne has been
the key to this team doing well. Liverpool gave us a tough fight. If not for
them this league wouldn’t be as competitive.

I’m extremely happy that Manchester City won the PL. I’m basically
an Everton Fan & I’m glad that I don’t have to hear the Liverpool fans go
Gaga if they had won their only 2nd title in 32 years. I like Klopp as a coach
but can’t stand the pool fans. So I’m always glad when someone other than the
pesky reds win the title. I’m also very happy that Frank Lampard is doing an
amazing job at Merseyside & has ensured another year in the top flight even
before the final day.
