sun damage and age spots. E.g. are Brazil nuts, sunflower seeds etc. Vitamin E
on the other hand protects skin from oxidative damage and supports healthy skin
growth. Foods packed with vitamin E include almonds, hazelnuts, sunflower
seeds, etc.

While most of us
believe that almonds are top food for concentration, poppy and sunflower seeds
are better. They’re rich in thiamine, a B vitamin that increases cognitive
function and memory. It also contains an amino acid that helps boost serotonin

vitamin E, which protects cells from oxidative stress caused by free radicals.

Almonds are an
excellent source of vitamin E. They also contain manganese, magnesium and

reducing cell damage. Sunflower seeds are also rich in Vitamin E making them an
excellent food to boost immunity power.

FOR HEART HEALTH

Walnuts are rated as
the healthiest nut for keeping your heart healthy. This credit could go to the
heart healthy alpha linoleic acid (ALA), a type of omega 3 fatty acids found in
plants. While all nuts contain monounsaturated fatty acids, walnuts contain the
highest amount of ALA. Studies suggest that ALA present in nuts are responsible
for regularising arrhythmia and also play an effective role in reducing inflammation
and oxidation in the arteries.

FOR YOUR EYES

Vitamin E loaded nuts
and seeds such as Almonds, sunflower seeds, and pecans serve as a great
antioxidant and agent against cataracts and macular degeneration. Including a
handful of these everyday can keep you away from getting glasses at an early
age and strengthening the muscles around the eyes.

caution dictates that seeds and nuts since small yet very calorie dense can
easily stack up to a tonne of calories very quickly. Hence always count your
